There are many holidays to mark on your calendar, and it can be hard to keep up with everything. Here’s a continually updated list of crucial dates in the paint industry that you should know about.

Of course, just attending these events does not guarantee that you will get value out of it if you do not have some key items:

Prepare: Knowing what events, location, and prices are important, but what are your goals in attending the event. Are you trying to learn something new? What kind of networking goals do you have in mind?
Participate: Going to an event just to view the event defeats the whole purpose of having events. With Covid, many events moved online, but when you do attend in-person events it’s more of a reason to get involved. By participating you will get yourself noticed, which in turn will help you network faster
Ask Questions: This is not a one way event, you’re going to this event, hopefully, to learn some new techniques. Asking as many questions as you can will help you get as much value out of the event as possible.

Follow Up: Once you make new connections make sure that you are reaching out continually to slowly build rapport and create a healthy, long-lasting relationship. People will appreciate this and will put as much effort as you put in.
